Colin Montgomerie made an impressive assault on the Golf clubs West Course at Wentworth today with a second round 65 to lead the field at 12-under par for the Volvo PGA Championship.
The Callaway Lady X-22 Irons big Scot fired eight birdies during his second round in heavy rain and blustery conditions around the Surrey venue.
His playing partners Darren Clarke Callaway X-22 Tour Iron Set and callaway x-22 iron set Sergio Garcia wondered if the European Number One was playing on the same course as them most of the way around and the European number One, although he was playing the same course, made it look easy in extremely tough conditions.
¡°That was bloody difficult out there and Golf Irons it¡¯s a very, very good score¡±. Said the Big Scot.
¡°I would be happy to be 12-under for four rounds, let alone two around this course. I would love to win this tournament three times in a row, no-one has ever done that before¡±.
