My Tv just dying........??Any clue

I am starting hate my TV. It is just dying. It’s a Samsung HLS4266W. I’ve had the set for just over and year. Manual says, it needs to replace my lamp.
Is this true or could there be something else wrong with the TV? As I said, I’ve only had it just over a year and now I don’t get a picture at all!
Its been 4 days gone without watching Tv. Can't afford to live without it after 14 hrs hectic job.....
Any clue or help please?
