No picture!!! ZENITH 46"

My 46" Zenith RA46M84D that has no picture. When you turn the set on you can hear a transfomer (TX3402) buzzing. The sound works (static, I havent tried hooking it up to anttena or anything yet) and from what I can tell it is changing channels. The power supply board # from my service manual is 009-01978 is this something that I should just replace are there common componets that go out on these.
Any help to steer me in the right direction will be appreciated.
