New user, and I want to add an outdoor TV to our pool area.
I was originally going to mount a 46" outdoor TV on the side of our house, and my TV guy is afraid that it will look about like a postage stamp on the side of the house if we get very far away. One of our other choices is to go with a projection unit and place the projector on the other side of the pool. This will be 50'+ away from the screen, however we have an excellent spot for a 120-180" screen.
How dark will it need to be to see the projection TV and do you think I will be pleased with the quality?
If I go with a conventional outdoor TV, do you think I will be pleased with that option?
