Phillips PTV630AH01 convergence problem

Phillips PTV630AH01 convergence problem	Can't Post

I have a phillips 47" with digital convergence board #A10535. It recently went out of convergence and will no longer realign. I can move the green convergence cross only with the number keypad, the left/right and up/down keypad will not move the cross. It also will not save any convergence information, the saving convergence message comes up on the screen and just stays there. Any idea on how to fix this?

Have a similiar problem but with blue on a 615 model but seems no one around here knows anything about these.

Hello,

My Magnavox has a fine adjust off one of the picture menus that you adjust with the remote.

I also has a complete alignment process which is done by entering a sequence of numbers with the remote control. A menu pops up and you must know how to navigate through the steps.

I have the service docs on the TV and it explains how to navigate through the steps and do the alignment.

Phillips and Mags are similiar... How old is your set?

I just made a post on a fix for this problem. If you still need help with this, see my post. I have a Philips 43" (model 43PP920217) that had a convergence problem. Your problem is probably VERY similar to mine, and I got it fixed for less than $100. good luck.

I had a har time convergencing my colors. Try go into the service convergence menu, type 062597 hit menu. The regular adjustment code is 062596 menu, if needed.
Always adjust colors to the green. Regular menu, write down register before changing values.
