Convergence problems with the blue. What do I do to correct this problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the speaker grill then the panel behind that you will find a board mounted to that panel find the big ass Ic ( STK4277 ) and change it,
problem solved almost every time Angelic

I too have a convergence problem with a pioneer rear projection tv (sd-p5193k), even after replacement of the convergence board. Is there a way to enter the setup menu, and is this what I need to do ? Any information you could provide will be most deeply appreciated.

I HAVE THE SUBJECT TV.
PICTURE COMPLETELY GOES OUT AFTER ABOUT 2-3 HRS.
BEEN GOING ON LIKE THIS FOR A MONTH OR SO.
NOW THE PICTURE WILL NOT COME ON AT ALL, AUDIO IS GREAT.
ANY IDEAS OR SUGGUSTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Your suggestion to replace part STK4277 was a lifesaver.
Essentially, I got myself a new TV after replacing the part.

I have a problem with this same set sd-4681-k, when I first turn it on the picture is sort of out of focus and the picture is convave somewhat the convergance is way off as the set heatsup it corrects and looks fine if I leave the set on it looks great, the problem is only during warmup, is this a convergance board problem as well? if so is the board mounted on the panel under the grill the convergance board. Thanks for any help

the speaker grille is the mesh part in front of the speakers at the bottom of your projection TV.
