Pioneer stk4277sl replace problem / shutdown Can't Post

Hello,
I have Pioneer rear projection tv with red bow at the bottom.
I changed the stk4274, but the bow was the same.
So, I decided to change the stk4277sl.
When I installed the new one, it shut down as soon as power on.
I checked for the bad soldering, but it was ok.
So, I put the old one back.
The TV started to work again with the red bow.

Is all stk4277sl the same?
Is there any procedure to change that stk4277sl?

Thanks

Hi, I got the same problem. Changed this IC twice, with an STK4277- had to bend the leads, but still it goes into shutdown. I'm suspecting that the original STK4277SL is different internally, not just because it has bent legs. Is this correct?
