Problems with my mitsubishi 50" Can't Post
Hello
My mitsubishi 50"(vs-5062) TV just started going out on me. It is weird, the tv will be functioning just perfect with great picture and sound, all of a suddent the tv looses the picture, it becomes a black and white picture like when you have no antena and makes a loud screaching noise, and this last just a for a little while. Usually it will flicks back to a good picture and opperates just fine. Some time I have to shut it off and turn it back on.............. very weird

Does the screeching noise come from the speakers or from the inside of the set? If it is coming from inside the set it sounds like a high voltage leakage from the flyback transformer.

Still waiting for the failure, I watched the TV last night for 5 hours and it did not fail.........
