RCA 52" Convergance problem

First post here, hello all. I have a RCA D52W23 HD rear projection that a buddy gave to me. It just quit on him and he didnt want to mess with it so I took it over. I payed $180 to have the power issue fixed (some blown caps) and when i took it home I found new issues. When I got it home I noticed the convergance was way off, normal, so I used the "auto convergance" feature and it looked good for a while. It wouldnt keep the convergance settings for more than a half hour at a time, except for 1 whole day it worked flawless. Now the other issue, it wont dop a complete auto converge and correct itself unless i unplug it from the wall for a day. Its like it wont keep the settings, when I go to auto convergance it goes through it in 20 secs and after its been unplugged for a day it will do a full which takes about 1-2 minutes. The manual convergance dont help either and I can never get the red to go aver enough. Any thoughts? Thanks, Mike.
