I have HV problem with my P46101KW i.e. arcing sound and then shutdown.
I pulled the arcing crt tube today. The gel is not under the anode cup as I previously reported but under the insolator tab just below it. I cleaned it, retested and it still arcs. I know this problem must have come up before but can't seem to find pertinent posts. Would someone help me out with the links to the previous post?

you will have to change the anode cap

Replaced the the anode cap. Used the build in set convergence adjustments, excellent results, beautiful picture. Just in time for Super Bowl. Saved big bucks too. Thanks again Mr. Shadetree!
