Rapid Vertical Roll Hitachi projection	Can't Post

I have a hitachi model# 50vx15k chasis# ap33, video rolls vertically very rapid, stops and starts often
as tv is on. the vertical sync controll on front of tv has no effect, any ideals anyone?

The fact that's 16 years old may have something to do with it. But there is a bulleten from Hitachi that states Ic 5501 may be defective but I would also check all caps in this section because the set is at the age that they will start failing and causeing multiple problems
