Rolling/Rolled up Picture on Philips Matchline 48" Can't Post

Another problem has cropped up on my rear projection TV. While before I had a clear, and solid, picture (albeit, missing blue, and green out of focus) now all of a sudden its really playing up.

The picture appears to be 'curled up' at the bottom, and moved 1/4 up the screen. The bottom 1/2 of the image is all caught up in the rolled up part, and barely visible.

The picture cannot stay still, fading in and out, and moving up/down constantly.

Being rear-projection, there are 3 CRTs in this unit, and this is happening on all 3 at once! Infact, watching the CRTs at the back, you can actually see them going on and off, its as if there isn't enough voltage to keep them all on at once!

Even after first turning on, when it used to have a rough picture up almost immediately that faded into a strong picture, it now starts with NO picture (but the tubes emitter light is on, and I can hear the oscillator start), then all of a sudden, they instantly flick onto full brightness, but this odd picture.

Other symptoms: there is a constant hum from the 240v -> 110v transformer, even when the unit is in standby mode (tubes off), and I'm 99% sure this was not present before this problem showed up.

Any ideas where I should start looking to work this one out? Do you do service on the chassis boards for these types? and if so, how much do you charge?

Thanks again for your time,
Michael
