SAMSUNG 42HD43A NO PIC OR SOUND??	Can't Post

I have a samsung 42hd43a studioseris projection tv that has no sound and no pic!! i ahve already changed the convergence board completly and still nothing!! when i turn on set i get the little red light to flash for a few seconds and i hear what sounds like it turns on but nothing?? i am pretty handy and could use some ideas?? thanks

Try this unplug the convergance power ( this would be the plug on the far left of the board just in front of the two big capacitors ) Now if the set will turn on but have terrible convergance then the problem still lies in that convergance board, if the set is still dead then it may have blown some transistor that sit on the red CRT board, or multiple other problem could exist

hi mike, i have sent you several emails to your email and have received no answer!! so i will try here!! first thank you for your help!! i now have a pic and sound but only if i disconnect the red lead marked screen GT404 on sub board?? now pic is not the best but tv works?? so my question is what part is bad and where do i get it?? i think it is the crt red board but not sure?? is it??? if so where do i but one?? plese respond as soon as you can!! and once again thank you merle b

The lead you are unpluging shuts down a voltage for The crt's and several little diodes and a few transistor and resistors are fryed, simplest way to fix this is to replace all three crt boards with a kit, part number BP94-00234A

hi again mike, and THANK YOU!! for all your help!! my tv is up and running thanks to your input!! i replaced the kit and it works now!! i do have a couple more quick question, though?? first how do i or where do i get a screen jig for this tv?? when i was trying to figure out all the problems before your help i screwed up the screen lines!! also is that causing my perfect focus not to work right?? when i push the perfect focus button all i get is CHECK FACTORY DATA !! so how do i do that ?? for now i have a pretty good pic but i am sure it can be better!! i have adjusted the focus manually and it is pretty good but i know i have something not right!! i am not sure where the lines should start in relationship to the little screen side markers on set!! the ones on the sides and top and bottom. i will tell anyone reading this that if mike canT help you , buy a new TV!! PLEASE RESPOND a.s.a.p. i have set in my heated garage and want to put it back in my livingroom where it belongs!! once again thank you for all your help and input!! m bammel
