SONY KP43T70 discoloration and flashes Can't Post

I've had a SONY KP43T70 Projection TV for about 2 years now. Recently I've noticed a severe picture discoloration Unsure- specially lots of intensity in the 'purple' and/or 'yellow' when white backgrounds are displayed. To make things worse, there are sporadic 'green' flashes across the screen when a DVD movie is being played and connected via the TV's RCA or composite video IN connector. The overall picture is not as bright as before. I've heard about possible damage related to 'boards' or color projectors but not certain what the exact problem might be.

Thanks for replying !

I have seen this many times Sonys "Cure" is to replace the A board. there are several componet that are weak or failed or about to fail. My cost on this board is around $215 Then convergance, color and your perfect focus must be reset.

I was looking at buying an XP41EXR96.
The problem is, there's a blue outline on the left of the screen. The seller says it has a convergance board problem. I was wondering your professional opinion, and if this is the case, can you get your hands on a convergance board for this model and how much? Let me know! Thank you!
