Hi Mike (and everyone else!) I am born and raised in Spokane, but currently living in North Carolina. Miss it up there so much. Anyway, I had a convergence issue with my Samsung 42HD43A (freebie that came when I bought my doublewide). My hubby and I did a lot of research, found step by step instructions on how to change the ic's and did so this past weekend. Before the change, we got sound and ghostly pictures on the tv. After the change, the power button lit up, but nothing else. Black screen, no sound. By chance I found a post you had written to someone else here, instructing them to unplug the power (left-most - is that a word? plug from the convergence board. If the tv came on, then the problem was with the board still. I did it, the tv came back on.) We think one of the solder points got messed up and tore a bit of the circuit tape off the board on our repair job, thus disrupting the power flow. Soooo......I am in search of a new convergence board. I found one on ebay, says it's brand new, genuine Samsung. Does it sound like I'm on the right track here? Please, any advice that might save us several hundred dollars is much appreciated. Thanks Mike! Bobbi Bridgers
