Samsung DLP Audio Popping and Crackling

Hi all, i have a samsung HLS4265WX/XAC DLP 42". It's a 2006. The audio starting to make loud crackling/popping sounds recently. It makes no difference what the input is: i.e. xbox,cable, dvd, etc... If I mute the sound it goes away, definitely from the speakers. I'm thinking i'll take it apart. Does anyone have a schematic or tips where to look for this problem that they might have encountered and fixed before?
