Samsung HCN4226W Sound doesn't work Can't Post
I was playing SSX 3 today and for no apparent reason the sound on my Samsung HCN4226W 42" tv went out and won't come back on. I thought it was just the game but when I went to watch tv the sound still wasn't working. How can I fix this?

I decided to continue this post instead of opening a new one because your TV has similar problem.

I had the same problem with my Samsung
HCN4226W projection TV. No sound from TV speakers.
When I turn on the unit I can hear like pop or cracking sound.

Only solution I have right now is getting sound through the receiver on external speakers. This means there is sound but it does not get to internal speakers.
I have already checked all settings on main menu.
Everything looks normal.

I am just wondering does this TV has a sound board like any PC has sound card? May be this board should be replaced.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.


I already had a problem with my TV couple years ago.
Convergence board was gone. I changed it by myself.
