You did the flash focus thingie, didn't you?

I can't imagine that the tubes are gone, it sounds like a convergence thing.

Wow, thanks for the fast reply.
Yes, did the Flash focus and also the reset procedure of holding down the Reset button on the remote and pressing the power button on the TV but it didn't help.

My old Sony had those controls outside and that is how you adjusted convergence. I wouldn't monkey with it if you have a service contract.

BTW, my old 55" soney projection TV is finally going to be euthanized. The pictuce is really dim and convergence does not hold for more than an hour or so and even then it is not the same accross the screen.

It is about 15 years old though. We actually rolled it up a hill during one move.
