Sparkling lines horizontally at times

Usually these occur about same time ever afternoon and may last several hours some times much worse than other times.
When they are not present the quality is perfect.
I have attempted to isolate every thing in my home that I think could cause this. I think it is an outside source causing my problem.
If this is true how do I find where it is coming from and what can I do to correct it?
I live in a remote area and use outside atenna that I can rotate, there are ten stations that I can receive.
WSMV 4 a powerful station but for some reason the sound will change from good to hardly understandable.
My question is this possible related to my T V or the station has a problem this happens real often.
Any suggestions appreciated.
