More than likely it is coming from the convergence ICs' mounted on the power board. These are known to fail due to the high heat they put out and the lack of really adequate cooling once the compound deteriorates and dries out. There are places that sell kits that include the two ICs', and all the necessary tools to do a good job of replacing them, but if you don't feel safe doing it yourself, most repair shops will repair it for prices ranging between 100-400 dollars, depending on how bad it is and what needs replacement.
