Toshiba Projection TV TP55G90	Can't Post

Lately I've been experiencing distortion as soon as I turn the TV on. Each time the distortion takes longer and longer before the picture becomes normal. I am not sure if anybody have encountered this type of problem in the past and I would like to know how to fix this problem that will not cost a bundle.

One of the most common fails in the projection sets is there convergance Ic's either get cold solder joints making a intermitant conection causing temp. distiortions or they fail this leave a distorted pix that never changes and/or put the set in a safty shut down not allowing it to turn on. To repair or replace these Ic's depend where and who you call could be as little as $89 for a quick solder job to $400 for a service call ,replace Ic's and reset factory convergance. best bet call around
