Toshiba TP48D90 Convergence? Can't Post

I have a Toshiba TP48D90 that the picture is losing convergence. I see red blue curve lines on my picture. I tried the auto focus but the buttons does not do anything.
A repair person came out and said I need to replace the convergence boards and it'll cost $250-300 USD.

Does this sound reasonable? Is this something I can replace myself or can I just do a 56pt convergence in Service mode. How do I access the SM?

I see the 90's Tosh Cinema & Theatre RPTV have common convergence issues after 7+ yrs.

I already got a new Tosh 65H83 so I do not want to spend too much fixing this. What is the least expensive option I have to fix this?

thanks in advance,
