Zenith a60m91w WHERE'S THE BEEF???	Can't Post

YES it has failed again, last night just went blank,dead picture no snap,crackle or pop

The tubes are not glowing, sound and controls are all ok

Absolutely no life in any of the 3 tubes

See greenish yellow post regarding the Zenith history

Are these sets known for board / high voltage failure

last time board part 009-01978-01 model 04/01 was replaced

Can i repair board or do i need the whole board replaced $300+service

OR senf this Zenith (now LG) pile to the junkyard

The 9-1690 convergence module should be checked carefully before installing the 9-1674 or 9-1978 power supply board. The + or - 26 volt lines can be pulled down by the 9-1690 module and if bad, can cause repeated failure of the power supply board. The high voltage splitter block can cause a shut down or dead set problem on the power supply board. Please check these items carefully before installing or replacing.
