convegence problem after blown fuse Can't Post

I have a RCA 60 rear projection TV (Model# P60920BL, Chassis# PTK195KC). I replaced the blown fuse in the back. When I turn the TV back on the colors are skewed (offset). I looked on the boards for any burnt parts (areas). I also reflowed the STK because I read of similar problems. I have a new part on order. Any other ideas of what I can look for or replace. Also I read somewhere that even after fixing, the alignment will still need to be tuned by a professional. Is this true? Thanks in advance.

youre in the right area, the board where the stk-730-*** is mounted is the power supply for the convergance, change the Ic and all the caps on this board and you should be fine, When this Ic failed it most likly took the fuse

Mike is right, question though, shouldn't there be 3 of those STK's? And shouldnt they all be replaced? Also I would check all the resistors to each IC.

Close this Ic STK730-020 is simply a power supply reg for the convergance board below it, Not the acual convergance board itself
