mitshubishi vs5007r color alignment problem

We received a free projection screen t.v. the Make: Mitshubishi Model: vs5007r
The color was off so we tried to change it by aligning the blue and the red together. It showed that they were aligned although they weren't. The blue will move up, down, left, and right. The red will only move up, down, and right. It shows on the "t" scale that it's moving, but it doesn't. The red color is too far to the right on the right side of the screen, although it is almost perfect on the left. The farther to the right of the screen, the worse it's off. I need to know if there is anything I can do before I spend the money on someone coming out to fix it. Thank You so much!
