pioneer stk4277sl convergence question Can't Post

I have found this IC here

http://www.partsolver.com/...p;OrgPartMfg=Pioneer

for +$55 and elsewhere for -$20. This site has it listed as a Pioneer part and a replacement for the 4277 specifically.

Is this a rip off or worth the extra$?

The same applies to the stk4274 which is on that convergence board as well and which I want to replace also.

This is a Pioneer 5073 TV

I show the 4279 as a slightly higher wattage, at least in this case bigger is better
