pioneer sd-p5046	Can't Post

ok bought this set at a garage sale and it has a blue ghost on the left side of the set the right side comes in like it should i called the service center and they want 75 bucks just to look at it and told me that i would be looking at $250 labor and $311 for a convergence board i do not want to spend this kind of money. i looked at this thread and could not find an answer for this question any help would be very much appreciated

This is a comon problem in you model, behind the speaker grill mounted to the cover and on a curcuit board mounted to a huge heat sink,,,,,,,,, is a STK4277 convergance ic, change that and the blue shadows sould disapear
