yellow streaks on 42 " Samsung Can't Post

I have vertical yellow bands or streaks going from the bottom to about anywhere from 2- 8 inches towards the middle of the screen. I have a problem with the green convergence going back to September. I cannot adjust the green left right in convergence mode. I can adjust the red and blue to match it so that is not a major issue right now. The yellow streak however is very noticeable on white backgrounds like a hockey game. Today I removed the covers, cleaned the inside of the screen as well as the mirror and the lenses, but it didn't change at all. The model is Hc-P4241W. My IC's are STK394-250.

My IC's are mounted to the heat sink....how would I remove it to replace the IC's? Hopefully my picture will be attached this time. I also have a pic of the yellow line although it's a little hard to notice on this background.

just unsolder all the legs take out the screws and the ic will come off the board.make sure you use heat compound between the new ic's and the heatsink.double check the soldering for shorts across two pins after resoldering the new ones in to save having to take the board out again.the yellow smudges may be gunk in the crt coolant.look into the tubes to check to clear fluid not murky stuff.

Is there a common way to check the CRT coolant or is it specific to each tv? I have an electronics background(photocopiers, faxes, etc,) but I have never looked at tvs before. Can you give me an rough idea how to check?

Well after reading the thread on replacing CRT coolant I believe I have bad IC's and bad coolant in my blue lense. I have included a pic. Has anyone replaced coolant on a Samsung 42" RPTV? Also this tv has tubing running to a bag hooked to the side of the tv frame just like a IV in a hospital. So I wonder how would I change the coolant with that type of setup?

I am going to attempt to change my coolant. Can anyone take a look at the picture I have attached and give me some guidance on how to do it withour removing the whole unit? Can I remove the lens first? If so will the coolant spill out? Which screws would I have to remove to remove the lens? Thanks in advance.
