10 + year old Mitsubishi WS55859 doesn't work after a power interruption

So the power went out and came back on over an hour later. Ever since then the TV has not worked. The only sign of life is the steady green blinking light.
I have the tv, wii, xbox, dvd player and stereo amp all plugged into the same surge strip. I have plugged the tv into the outlet directly without any changes. The outlet is good as the dvd player and stereo amp both work, the wii and xbox now when plugged into a working tv (3 years old and less than 1 yo) only broadcast in black and white.
Thanks for taking the time to read and offer advice.
FWIW...SoCal Edison has denied a claim for the TV in a generic snail mail letter. I will continue to press the issue as I don't see this as a coincidence.
