27" Sanyo Channel Display ALWAYS ON!

I seem to be having problems with my TV, well, I have been since it was new. Well, the channel is ALWAYS displayed in the bottem right corner. It's not really messed up it's just that during all VHS, DVD, and satelite TV shows I must put up with the green channel number display, I'd really love to stop this so I could enjoy a movie without the hassles of a big green "03" at the bottem.
