50in philips cracked screen

hi guys, ill get to the point -i picked up a philips new 50 inch plama payed good money but when i opened the box at home screen is cracked can it be fixed? or am i assed out any advise will be very helpfull as seeing i have no warrenty and it came from the streets. thanks
