A/V Input Problem Can't Post

I have a 27" Sylvania 6427TE. It has the usual yellow, white, red inputs on the front and back. The problem I have is that the video input on the back doesn't seem to be working. I can hear the audio when I hook up my 360, but I can't see anything. I was wondering what I can do to fix this problem. Thanks.

What's wrong with you? Your 27" Sylvania 6427TE Television is NO WAY, NOWHERE, NO HOW comply with the output resolutions of an XBOX.

I think denonjapan may be missing the point (no offense denonjapan, just trying to give some friendly input). Wouldn't it be safe to assume that if the XBOX audio/video output had a higher resolution that it would have a multi-prong video cord for those newer hi-def TV's? (some are called DIN jacks but those are mostly for older audio) How does your XBOX work? do you use a coax output? Most electronic devices that have the yellow, white, and red outputs is standard for Audio left & right, and video. My DVD player has several output options: RGB out, Optical out, and standard yellow, red and white video/audio out.
I'm curious, does your XBOX work on other TV's? Or is this some new problem? Microsoft made those XBOXES to work on almost all TV's with Audio/Video inputs. My friend has an XBOX 360 and we play it all the time on his TV and sometimes he brings it to my house and we use my TV which is a 1990 model Toshiba and it works just fine. Your XBOX Video output might be messed up.
The only way you're going to know for sure, is if one of your friends has an XBOX and brings it over to your house and plugs it in to your TV. Let's rule out the TV's video input! Plug a VCR's video output into your TV's video input, if you get a picture, voile'. Your XBOX is suspect. If not, then the video input jack on your TV is suspect. (loose or cold solder joint)
Please understand that this is just some troubleshooting tips and should not be mis-construed as professional advice. Hope some of this helps!
