Bush WS6674 Picture Tripping Can't Post

Bush WS6674SILC. After normal operation picture very briefly has a red tinge before tripping off, the sound remains on and working. Using the remote to standby and back on usually restores the picture but occasionally the set needs to be powered down. This process usually repeats itself a few times before it settles. Once or twice on reset I have briefly seen a completely green screen with flyback lines followed by a red screen with flyback followed by normal operation.
This fault normaly appears within the first 15mins of switching on, never when the set has been on for hours.
Any ideas?

sounds like the tube is shorting have a look in the back and see if its a phillips tube if so tap the neck of it gently with a plastic handle of a screwdriver and see if it brings the fault on if so it is the tube

Thank you. It is a Phillips tube. I'll try tapping it tomorrow but it sounds like you have diagnosed it. The set is about 5 years old so unless it was a simple fault it will be replaced rather than repaired. Thanks again for your reply.
