I'm looking for a new tv and was wondering for any advice on what is better these days between the Sharp Aquos or Plasma. What do you think?

I just bought a Plasma tv for the family room and my wife retaliated by buying an LCD for the living room. Because of the picture quality difference I wouldn't trade and on top of that, my plasma TV was less expensive than the comparible LCD. I've always had good luck with the Sharp brand but my preference is still Panasonic. Actually, picture quality is a matter of personal preference so compare the two side by side and make your own choice.

Several countries are looking at banning the manufacture or importation of Plasma TV due to the power consumption, LCD is better but not much. I would seriously consider other options at this time. Once November comes and George is but a memory you may find Global warming comes to USA and things like Plasma TV will be a bit on the nose.
