Buzzing JVC 32"

Can remember the model number at present but it's wide, flat, 32", 50hz and silver.
It started making the noise a couple of months ago but it would only happen when the screen displayed graphics (e.g. Tivo, DVD startup, JPGs etc.) but didn't make the noise when normal TV or DVD was playing. This progressed (or should I say regressed) to buzzing when the screen was bright (e.g. a lot of sky in the image). It now buzzes all the time unless the screen is mostly dark or the brightness is turned down or with "Eco" mode on.
It's a couple of years old now and so is out of warranty. Live with it? Get the repair man in? Buy a new one?
Any advice welcome.
