 THANKS for the GREAT pix....
 Are we having a problem ("maybe" Alzheimers..
  ..).... RE;=>......

  When you get the control installed for the pincushion & adjusted , PLEASE take a pix WITH video & post it.... <<EXCELLENT JOB !!! OR "memory lapse" or back cover is on , or ???AND pix's of the chassis as earlier requested... << Alzheimers , right ???

 Needed BOTH !!!

  I only have a cheap multi, so cap checking is basic... I did the ohms check, started at infinity, raised gradually for a sec. or 2 then back to infinity.That is NOT the way to check caps , especially electrolytics !!!!!... ... ALL that does is tell you the cap is able to charge up...That's IT ...
  .... I have 2 cap meters , 1 for ESR (The one below) & 1 for value....Both cheeeep !!!
 One of the best ways is to get a cheap ESR meter....

 It's cheap & basic , but it gets the job done...
 IF you decide to get it , I'll give you some important advice on how to use it....

 For now , just go to your local parts store & buy a 47 mfd @ 35 vdc (or 50 vdc if they don't have a 35 vdc cap) cap & replace it....

 Also check on the number on the vertical IC....Is it the same as what's in the manual ???

 Thank you....
