Coby remote control mess Can't Post

I purchase a Coby tv remote that was shown to be right for my TV. It did not work, sending it back the seller on eBAY Charged me a 20 percent stocking fee of a $11.00 cost. So I paid almost half of that to see a failed product. ..which makes me cautious. I cannot believe in this day and age, one has to discard a perfect playing TV, cause I cannot find a remote to replay the original one that some 'buttons' fail to execute...especially the Input button which i want badly for this tv and need. The manual buttons do not have an input button...just on/off, vol and chnl changes.

Judging by your 'remarks', if you don't know what i am talking about, then why bother to answer?

What else can I say about a tv remote? I gave the name of the product. Some of my 'buttons' do not work anymore..such as input mute. Tell me what i have left out.

MODEL # off of the television.
ANY alpha-numerics on face or inside battery compartment of whichever remote you have.
I'm pretty sure as Ford has different ____ (starters, tires, key fobs), Coby has different remotes. (I tried Googling 'Coby Remote' and got 580,000 results)

I'm aware that there are many out there and you can see in my op i said i bought one with the right model number and it was not a refurbished one and it did not work with my tv set. t i cannot order and order and have being charged almost half of what the costs might be just to try them out and have to return them. I was just letting off steam.

But no one can check your research for correctness. And some persons may know of places where oddball remotes may exist as old new stock.
