Convergence Problem??

Hi,
My next door neighbor is selling his Sony KP-46S55 rear projection TV
but according to him, it has a "convergence" problem. The picture is fine except that
there is a blue ghostly shadow on the right side of the screen. Is this
easy/cheap to repair or this is good as dead? thanks.
