Hi guys,
Looking into my options here.
The company supplied me with a firmware update to fix minor issues with TV, however the TV shat itself over this and now the power light comes on and the lCD lights up for about 10 sets then goes black. I'm guessing the mainboard needs a firmware fix.
Is there a way I can retrieve the old firmware using a null modem cable a
nd restoring That way?
Or are there alternatives the only reason I ask is because the company went into receivership and cancelled all warranties. So I pretty much have a useless cheap 4k TV and decided rather than get rid of it I'll try to learn to fix it.
The mainboard part number is ms33930-zc01-01
And the motherboard is ms74200-zc01-02.
Any help would be appreciated it's a 41.5 inch 4k TV that doesn't support HDR.
Model is GE6993.
