Did Freeview wreck my TV? Can't Post

I have a Panasonic TX28PL1 & yesterday I connected a Digilogic DSTB1000 freeview box. Everything was working ok but I was trying to manually tune in channel 11 when my tv suddenly went dead. When in standby if you switch off with the remote it comes back on again after a few seconds, its as if its in standby all the time!Unsure

I switched off the power for over an hour bu it didnt work.

Can anyone help?

I am not up on this brand of tv but it sounds as if the set is going into shutdown. This is what it should do if you have a problem. I would try disconnecting the box and keep all cables away from tv. If this helps you might have a ground problem with the freebox. Sub. a known good one. Do you have an isolation transformer? Make sure the hot and cold sides of the power cords are in correct with wide side on ground. I don't have any more help for you with out having to use some test eq.
