Dx-L40-10A 40 inch lcd tv powers off

hi
i have a dynex 40 inch lcd 2009 model when you power it on the picture if perfect and the menu options works great for about 1-3 minutes and then the tv starts making some weird feedback type sounds coming through the speaker and then the picture starts distorting and has with random single lines/bars during this time the tv non respsonsive...menu button or any other button does not respond...and then the tv powerts off
not sure if this is a power supply issue or manin board or maybe even the tcon board...
any ideas?
