Faulty with an LG TV Can't Post

Hi, I am hoping for some advice on my LG TV, I am fairly sure of the fault but need conformation before buying the part.

I have an LG 42LS575T Smart LED TV.

The screen will work for a short time and then go blank, I have sound and I did the torch test and the picture is there and the TV appears to work correctly just cant see the picture. The LED's are off when the screen is blank.

After some research online I found the fault is the PSU which I presume has a built in LED converter as the only other boards in the TV are the mainboard and the Tcon board.

I checked the PSU Board and cant see any blown capacitors either.

Can anyone confirm if my diagnosis is correct.

Thanks Baz

Hello.

If you hear sound when picture goes dark, change Panel LED strips.

I thought about this after I posted the thread my only concern was that the screen comes on as normal and works for 5-10 minutes then goes dark. After this initial warm up I can turn off then on again and it will work for less and less time before going dark.

Thats why I thought the LED controller on the PSU board was at fault. Also when I took the back of there was a lot of dust on the PSU board.
