Ferguson TV comes out of standby on it's own

Ferguson TV has started coming out of standby on it's own during the ITV news and the switches off again when the news is finished.
It has done this for another program called Jack Frost on ITV
Anyone have any ideas (for sister in law, will get wife off of my back.... .)
