How to break a tv? Can't Post

Hey guys,
GF says I can't get a new tv until this one breaks...even though I'd be the one buying it. How do I break a 30inch Mitsubishi? So that she doesn't know it was me?

Thanks!

People here are dying to become a tech and will do anything in extremes. Anyhow, she's only a gf. I d/o understand the part where give and take situation. It's just a damn tv. Should you buy or not. if she truly meant for you regardless if you buy the tv, shouldn't interfere your relations and why would you let it?

shadetree, made a fair comment if she's not dumb enough to find out it was orchestrated by you all along. but I don't think should you have to do it otherwise. You can always use it in other room and lastly, STAND ON YOUR OWN!

Why is your "gf" dictating when you can buy a new TV without her justification and approval? If she is leading you around by the nose now, think of what it will be like if you ever get married. At least if the set is in reasoable condition now, it has some value to help offset the cost of the new one.

Looking at the question, I think she has good reason to do as she does. Also Mel isnt that not a bit chauvinistic, perhaps your GF has long hair due to dragging.

If you want a new tv you buy one after all it's your pocket getting hurt.
