I Dropped the TV. The color is crazy! Can't Post

Ok, my friend drops his SONY TRINITRON, model #KV-27FS16. Now the color is all messed up. THere are vertical strips of red, yellow, blue, etc. Here are the pictures

Is it fixable? Is it worth fixing? How much would a respectable repairman charge to fix this? Where is a good place to find the part? Im great with a solder iron and have been repairing electronics for a few years now. Would I be able to fix it? Any information would be great. Thanks a bunch guys.

you could buy a new tv for cost of new tube unless it has great sentimental value only other hope is to find used tube call around to repair shops you might find one, if you replace it your self be sure to discharge tube properly first

Trust the Shade. Even if you found a used one and replaced it yourself, the set up new the tube is not something that a novice should attempt.

looks like a purity problem, may have only slipped the yoke down the neck of the tube. try moving the yoke back towards the front of the tube.
