Insignia NS-55E480A13A back light issue Can't Post

My grandfather had this 55inch LED Insignia set for a little over a year and suddenly one day it went black. Instead of trashing it I decided to attempt to repair it. So, here's what I know and have tried. There is an image visible when a flashlight is shown into the screen. Also, there are ports on the backside of the LED panel and shining a light through them displays the image. So my thinking here was that the logic board is working fine and I'd assume the power board is good too. I got the numbers off the original and ordered a replacement led driver board from Shop Jimmy. Well, still having the same problem. When the power cable is plugged into the power board, the power indicator on the front of the tv goes red and a few seconds later the led panel illuminates for a half second and then goes black; then, the power indicator blinks about 5 times. When it ceases blinking the tv apparently is operating normally aside from the screen not being lit (obviously.) If anyone has some input or a suggestion I'd sure appreciate it. I don't guess there would be something inside the LED panel itself I could replace....

Be sure each and every LED lights for that 'half second.' LEDs can and do fail. If only one, you might be able to bypass, but if more ... good luck.
