Intermittent white flickering horozontal lines across 36" toshiba CF36G40 Can't Post

Hello all. I found this forum by searching for my TV set - a 36" Toshiba CF36G40. It started having this problem about a month ago but this last weekend it's starting to get worse. It gets white horozontal lines that flicker throughout the screen. Sometimes it lasts only a second but other times it flashes and flickers for about 5 seconds straight. It's not the incoming cable line because I can disconnect it but I never see it when playing a DVD through the "S" video cable. Also, my wife says that it seems to get better when I play with the coaxial imput on the rear, but I've tried to move this around when the set is working fine, just to prove where the problem spot is, and I cannot get it to do it. ANY info would be appreciated.
