Is this worth a fix? I reseated the ribbon cables to the tcon board and no luck. Here is a link to the photo.

TCON or panel.

One last thing you can try: Mark L & R edges of bar at top or bottom of FRAME with crayon, grease marker or masking tape pieces. Switch aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9. IF bar position stays with no change, Panel is most likely cause.
