JVC 27BM6 TV Won't Turn On

One day working, next day would not turn on. Checked the fuse, has power going to circuit board. I read some similar forums about a capacitor that might be blown but was not this model TV. Any help would be appreciated on what might be the problem or how to locate what is wrong. The TV is 12 years old, I'm probably not going to waste any money taking it to a repair man. Just hoping since I am a little handy, if I can fix at low cost and save some $$$. If I mess it up, no loss because it will end up in the trash anyway!
