JVC 32" is playing in Black and White Can't Post

My JVC AV32120 is now playing in black and white only. It is also a bit jumpy. A blue screen flicks occasionaly. If I play a dvd it play just fine as can be. But on cable it is black and white and jumpy. Could this be a digital tuner issue, or something else? Would it be worth fixing? Thanks for any advice.

Occasionally, JVC tuners will go bad. Assuming that you are using the DVD input jacks which bypass the tuner, your description sounds like the soldered ground connections inside the tuner may have deteriorated and are making intermittent contact. Get an estimate from your local repair shop and then weigh the cost of repair vs cost of a new set to make a decision. You might want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/default.aspx?referer=7509165 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part.
